Sam Yeager. Senior. Musician.

I had the pleasure of taking senior pictures for Sam Yeager.

Fine young man who is a talented mandolin player. Thanks Sam, I had a blast!

Dude knows how to rock some cool clothes!

December 13.

Have to add one image to this set now that the Yeager’s have seen the whole shoot.

I love when I get inspired and this shoot did that for me. It was the smallest item that inspired me to have Sam do something that I never had done before then.

What I’m referring too is the spinning. He was taking his coat off and I saw the inside of the jacket. The black and white stripes and I knew I had to show that off somehow.

I remember seeing Bono in a concert right after 9/11 happened and he flashed the inside of his leather coat which showed a portion of our US flag.

I remembered that vividly so I had Sam to do it. Then, I had him do a whole 3 seconds of spinning and ripping his coat open while I was set to rapid fire on the camera and we came up with these very classic and timeless looking shots.

I’m not saying it’s the most original or never been done shot, but HOW I got there is inspiring for me and that makes me happy.

Greg, Carol and Sam…I’m so glad you like the pictures. Thanks.
